On BBC Radio-4 at 8pm tonight (Tuesday), File-on-Four on the ecological debt
that farmers owe to society.  A recent study by Essex University estimates
the value of environmental damage from pesticides on wildlife at £3.2
billion, while farmers complain of increasing red-tape from environmental
regulations, tonight's programme focuses on this study and explores how
measures such as taxation might be geared to responding to these problems.
