The good old TLIO Yurt, which is nearly 10 years old, is due
for a full refurbishment so we have arranged a long weekend
between 27th and 30th October 2006 of yurt TLC to get it back
into first rate land occupying condition.

Anyone interested in coming along for any part of this restoration
weekend, which is also a chance to learn a bit of woodcraft, will
be most welcome. The operation will be costing the campaign
account as little as possible so please bring along with you the
usual clobber, such as stout boots, sleeping bag and torch, as
well as some food if you can.

Transport to Tinkers' Bubble by public transport is by bus, coach
or rail to Yeovil, thence there is a bus service from Yeovil Bus
Station to Norton-Sub-Hamdon. From there its roughly a mile
long walk to Little Norton and Tinkers' Bubble itself. By car it's up
the Little Norton valley and on the left. Once you have reached the
TB car park there is a 15 minute walk up the hill.

Accommodation, if you don't want to bring your tent, is somewhat
limited and on a strictly first come first served basis. Please call
Mike at Tinkers Bubble on 01935 881975 who will be keeping a
list of who is coming. He can also give more detailed directions
if you need them.

Hope to see you there and do please give me a bell if you want
any further information.
