Hackney Council, possibly the most inept in the country, moved last week to take over the Saturday market on Boadway Market in E8 - the most successful community-run street market in the country. Despite government policy, the council has refused to consult the community. If you would like to help save our thriving market please sign the petition and spread the link far and wide.
