Top fella [*] at the Royal Society weighs in with what can be expected
of the corrupt organisation.
(remember the attack on Dr. Pusztai and threatening even the Lancet
over the Pusztai affair in late nineties ?)
The Royal Society, formed in the 1600s lives off licking the floors of
biotech giants, clean.
I believe the nonsense from the Royal Society should be countered by a
group such as TLIO who have a stated focus spanning the time period
since 1600s (?) and on ownership issues relating to land.
Bio-patents are related to land through bio-fuels, food crops and
pharma-crops all owned through the excuse of genetic modifications.
The bio-patents fuel agricultural investments by corporate entities
which amounts to straight forward land grabs at the least - in many
fertile areas full fledged genocides are the result of such land grabs.
The stupidity of the scientists at Rothamsted who are clearly a part of
a PR spin attempt can be seen as one even resorts to lying point blank
about the patent regime (the first comment in link above points to the
original Guardian PR piece).
