Farm Terrace Allotments https://www.facebook.com/SaveFarmTerraceAllotments
in Watford is a historic site that has been earmarked by its council for
house building. It’s change of status from statutory land has been approved
by the Secretary of State, despite a valiant fight by the Save Farm Terrace
group.

The group has been advised that the decision is ‘unlawful’ and has decided
to take the decision to judicial review. This case is significant for all
allotmenters or supporters of allotments. 97% of all applications to change
allotment land status are currently approved, a statistic that suggests
there is something seriously wrong with the system. No allotment has ever
challenged such a decision before, because it is a lengthy and expensive
process, but Farm Terrace has decided to go all the way. A positive outcome
would help protect all allotments.

They need to raise £30,000 to do this, and are asking all supporters to
donate £10. Please donate what you can here http://www.gofundme.com/3ig1fo
