'Extreme Energy in the Marches' web page launched

Hi all,

Just to let you know that the Free Range "Extreme Energy in the Marches"
web page has just launched --

http://www.fraw.org.uk/extreme_marches/


The purpose of the page is to provide a focus for the unconventional gas
developments what are about to target this area over the next few years.

The first application for exploratory drilling went in at the end of
September -- details of that can be found on the web page.

The page also combines information about the likely scope of development
across the area, there are videos related to fracking/coal-bed methane
developments elsewhere (due to its geology this area is more likely to
see CBM than shale gas development), and there's an extensive library of
official reports and scientific studies related to the health and
environmental impacts of unconventional gas production.

Note also the two upcoming events this week:

# Tuesday October 15th 2013 – Extreme Energy in the Marches
7.30pm, Saith Seren, 18 Chester Street, Wrexham

# Wednesday October 16th 2013 – Extreme Energy in the Marches
7.15pm, Memorial Hall, Oswestry
