[Diggers350] Rewilding in Cornwall & TLIO

Hi,
In my younger days used to go regularly to TLIO at Tinkers Bubble and took part in many actions. I have continued you follow the fantastic work of TLIO. I now live in west Cornwall. I came across your fantastic post: https://tlio.org.uk/the-national-trust-is-trying-to-eliminate-livestock-farming-by-pushing-tenants-out-for-rewilding-projects/ I am involved with farmer Pete's Farmers Movement Cormwall.

The attached timeline study I did examines the background of the Rewilding issue. You are welcome to use all or parts of it and/or share it freely as you wish without coming back to me.

I do have a favour to ask if possible please - I am trying to find out if anyone (inc you) knows of any examples of The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 being selectively 'misused' - eg to unjustifiably restrict access, shut down country based businesses based on spurious allegations of causing 'distress' or 'disturbance' to wildlife etc. It is an ideal latent tool to be more strongly applied as a green Trojan Horse in implementation of moves toward no-go rewilded areas through mission creep from the original aims/balance of this legislation. Any thoughts, info, contacts etc of anyone looking at this very much welcome!
