Craig Murray
'This may surprise: I am very firmly on the side of farmers in the
inheritance tax row.
There have been decades of effort to eliminate farming as we know it
and replace it with hyper-industrialised systems with monopoly
concentration of capital, and produce bastardized "food".'

Craig Murray:
'Support from the left for inheritance tax on UK farms is
fundamentally misconceived.
It will speed up the transfer of farmland to big finance, not oppose it.
Land reform to break up the vast estates - which I support - should
be designed for just that, not attack normal farmers.
There seems among many liberals and left a dislike of farmers based
on a prejudice that they all share the views of Jeremy Clarkson and
Nigel Farage.
This is a fundamental misunderstanding of rural life.'

A side-note: Rachel Reeves was at the Bank of England in a minor role
from 2000 to 2006 where she may or may not have had a sexual
relationship with governor Mervyn King.
