Action to #KillTheBill on Saturday 1st May, May Day</b> across the
UK.<br>

<b>1st May is also International Workers Day</b>, when workers, organised
in trade unions or not, come together to celebrate past, present &
future struggles, and to remember all those killed, brutalised, arrested,
victimised in workers struggles. For at least the last 150 years, the
labour movement, and workers, have been at the forefront of struggles for
a better world. They have born the brunt of the repression from the
bosses, political class, and the state. Especially since the election of
the Tory Thatcher in 1979, the trade unions have been attacked &
restricted like never before. Now the proposed restrictions on our rights
to protest, to assemble, to speak, will impact both the labour movement
& all workers generally, along with every campaign you can think of
that involves itself in any form of street protests.
