GREENNET TRAINING UPDATE - August 01
- - NEWS
Greennet can accept individual learning accounts (ILAs). ILAs are a
government sponsored initiative, available to help people in
employment
subsidise learning for personal development. You can receive 20% off
the
cost of a GreenNet course.
- - Web Design training
Web design using html
This course is intended to provide a solid grounding in HTML coding
(the
core language of every web page) and web design principles. It is
suitable
for anyone wishing to learn to design and /or update web pages.
Upcoming dates:
29th and 30th September, Saturday & Sunday
24th and 25th November, Sat & Sun
Web design using dreamweaver
The course is intended for those with some computer experience &
includes
practical hands-on project work. By the end of the course you will;
understand the principles of the World Wide Web; have a practical
understanding of how to build, update and publish a web site using
Dreamweaver; understand the key principles of web design & site
promotion.
Upcoming dates:
3rd and 4th September, Monday & Tuesday
27th and 28th October, Saturday & Sunday
Both courses cost 235 pounds (incl. VAT) for GreenNet members.

This course is designed to introduce beginners, and offer new skills
to
intermediate users. Courses are scheduled for the first Tuesday of
every
month, running throughout next year. Details of booking, course costs

- - Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) -
GreenNet have developed this course as a response to your concerns
about
the security of using the Internet and e-mail communications. PGP is
an
encryption software that allows you to send and receive encrypted
documents
and emails. Trainings are on the second Tuesday evening of every
month.
