Dear Supporter,

As a result of thousands of phone calls, emails, and letters, 252 MPs voted
last week to support the amendments to the Postal Services Bill that would
protect the Royal Mail.

Although we did not receive a majority of votes to prevent the Postal
Services Bill passing - MPs from all parties spoke in favour of amendments
showing the breadth of concern across the House. 

We must now intensify our campaign and build support in the House of Lords
to retain a public postal service.

This Saturday you can continue the pressure by attending our national Keep
the Post Public rally and march in Kingston upon Thames, where Vince Cable
and Ed Davey - the ministers privatising our postal service - are local MPs.

post.

This campaign has helped us accomplish a great deal. Not least of all, it
has given us many reasons to be grateful for our dedicated postal workers. 

Please take this first step to continue the campaign and make our voice
heard. Join us on Saturday and make sure Vince Cable and Ed Davey know: The
Royal Mail is not for sale.
