Developments in European Employment Law
Wednesday 21 March 2012
A full day conference
NUT Hamilton House, London
9.30am
About the Conference
Are the much trumpeted gains of the past now in danger of being swept away
on a wave of austerity measures? Has the balance of forces within the EU
swung too far in favour of finance capital and against workers rights?
Our expert panel will review recent developments, assess the likely impact
of the expected "Monti 2" Regulations and compare ECJ decisions with the
more union-friendly decision of the European Court of Human Rights.
We can expect the EU to continue to influence UK labour law for some time.
This conference will update, inform and critically analyse that influence
and its implications for UK workers.
