Book Sale - Half Price Special Offer

   With thousands of troops drafted in to make up for G4S' failings at
   millions of pounds of cost to the taxpayer, and small businesses banned
   from using London 2012 iconography to increase sales, the IER [3]has
   highlighted how protecting workers' rights would have been in
   everybody's interest in the run up to the Olympics.

   In 2006, our publication [4]Global Rights in Global Companies: Going
   for Gold at the UK Olympics outlined the worker and human rights issues
   related to the Games and warned that it was essential these rights were
   protected if the Olympics were to run smoothly. The book has never been
   more relevant than it is now, when sadly, our concerns have been proved
   legitimate by the ineptitude of private companies like G4S.

   The publication is now on sale at just £5 for trade union members and
   £10 for individuals - that's half price - in light of recent events.
