Take Action

There are two ways to take action this week:

- Petition against the amendment of (s)47 of the Health <http://www.ier.org.uk/news/ier-blog-threat-strict-liability-prompts-e-petition> 
and Safety Act

Speak out against the reversal of employers' 114-year-old strict liability for their workers' welfare.

- Respond to the government's new approach to consultation <http://www.ier.org.uk/news/speak-out-now-or-risk-losing-your-voice-whitehall>  

Providing the public with just two weeks to respond to its proposals in some cases, and for some issues conducting no public consultation at all, are cornerstones of Ministers' new guidance. Make sure your voice is heard now or risk losing the chance to speak in the future.
