revealing service provision rules will not be repealed, but several changes
will be made that could hinder trade union activity. There are many
uncertainties about the new regulations and the conference will aim to
provide answers to the questions below, and to questions from delegates on
the day.

Rally Against Austerity: Hands off Our Unions.

IER joined forces with the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom

<http://www.thepeoplesassembly.org.uk/> ’s Assembly Against Austerity, the
National Assembly of Women <http://www.sisters.org.uk/> , the Morning Star
<http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/>  and 10 local trade unions (UNITE,
PCS, NUT, FBU, UNISON, CWU, RMT, UCU, UCATT & GMB)to organise an excellent
rally in Liverpool against austerity and against attacks on trade unions. 

John Hendy QC, Owen Jones, Billy Hayes, Anita Wright, Sheila Coleman, Sam
Fairbairn and Laurence Dunne addressed a packed audience in Liverpool.
