Join us at Labour Rights under a Labour Government


At TUC 2019, the Institute of Employment Rights was proud to witness a great many of the recommendations in our new  <https://ier.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f121e48a8bb6d3101590c12d3&id=93ea32ec9b&e=71131c031b> Guide to a progressive Industrial Relations Bill adopted by the Labour Party.

In their addresses to Congress, Jeremy Corbyn and Laura Pidcock thanked the IER for its advice, while announcing several key IER proposals would be taken forward by the Party.

These include the establishment of a Ministry of Employment Rights, the restoration of sectoral collective bargaining, and a new Workers' Protection Agency to enforce the law.

Join us at our free meeting with Shadow Minister for Employment Rights, Laura Pidcock, joined on the platform by John Hendy QC, Chair of the IER; Professor Keith Ewing, President of the IER; Mark Serwotka, General Secretary of PCS; and Roger McKenzie of Unison. 

The speakers will all outline what they believe a Ministry of Employment Rights could deliver for workers and for the economy.
