The IER today launched a new video series taking a detailed look at what the party manifestos promise in terms of workers' rights.

Over the next two weeks, labour law experts will be covering such hot topics as low pay, working time and equality - as well, of course, as collective bargaining.

The first instalment, below, comes from Professor Lydia Hayes of the University of Kent and drills into the detail on the parties' pledges on zero-hour contracts.
