Agency Workers as strike-breakers: the IER responds to Government proposals


Professor Keith Ewing, President of the Institute of Employment Rights (IER) takes a look at the legality of the latest Government proposals to change the law on using agency labour in industrial disputes, in light of RMT
industrial action & upcoming rail strikes.

"The ILO Committee of Experts has already concluded that British law does not do enough to protect strikers from being replaced. This is because of the inadequate nature of our unfair dismissal law."
