TUC Congress postponed


The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has postponed its annual conference, due to start this weekend in Brighton, after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday.

Unfortunately, this development means that the IER has had to postpone its joint fringe meeting with the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom, due to have taken place at the Old Ship Hotel in Brighton on Sunday evening, and the celebration of former Director Carolyn Jones tenure at the IER, which was due to immediately follow our fringe meeting.
