Seasonal Greetings from the Institute: recommeded holiday reading
As Director, I would like to extend my thanks, solidarity and seasonal greetings to all of the IER family - our subscribers, supporters and friends. This year has been an extraordinary one in terms of employment rights, industrial relations and labour law - beginning with the P&O scandal, right up to the recent wave of industrial action and government attempts to curb strikes. A quick look at our website will tell you that the Institute has been right at the heart of those extraordinary events and discussions, cataloguing them, analysing their impact and pointing the way forwards, along with our friends in the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom.
Normally, this newsletter brings you the latest developments from the week, but at the end of 2022, I thought it would be useful to highlight some of the publications produced by our team, drawing on our wide network. As usual, our publications are vital guides to the movement. Please download, read and contact us to give us your feedback.
Enjoy the festive period - and we'll see you the other side for what will undoubtedly be an equally turbulent 2023! Whatever happens, we will be ready.
