In order to interrogate Fehriye Erdal who was arrested in Knokke on
September 26th 1999, the murderer power of Turkey is sending an
interrogation team. This team is responsible of the massacre and torture =

hundreds of people. The real profession of this team is to organise

Atilla Cinar: At the moment he is officially the head of the Istanbul
Anti-Terror Branch. He was appointed to this duty in 1996. Since then he
has been directly responsible for the operations, torture and murders =
that
have been done by the anti-terror branch.=20

HIS CRIMES

MURDERS:
1- February 9th, 1996, he ordered the massacre of Fuat Berk, Meral =
Akpinar
and Ayten Korkulu. Their house was surrounded and the whole operation =
took
10 minutes. They even did not bother to warn them before killing them.=20
2- April 10th, 1996, Muharrem Karakus and Mustafa Bektas were killed by
the death squads without warning in day light in Kadikoy / Istanbul. The
order was given by Atilla Cinar.
3- May 13th, 1996, Irfan Agdas was shot by the death squads without
warning while he was distributing the weekly socialist newspaper =
KURTULUS
in Alibeykoy / Istanbul. Irfan Agdas was arrested injured and alive. He =
was
taken in an unmarked police car with the registration number 34 FT 322. =
He
was killed in the car. The trial of this massacre is still continuing =
and
none of the death squad members who were responsible for this murder =
have
been arrested.=20
4- May1st, 1996, during the Mayday commemoration in Istanbul, the death
squads under the order of Atilla Cinar opened fire on the crowd. Yalcin
Levent, Hakan Albayrak and Dursun Odabas were killed. One of the =
unmarked
police cars with registration 34 FJU 79 which was used during this =
massacre
belongs to the Anti-terror branch. Atilla Cinar gave the order.=20
5- June 22nd, 1996, Adalet Yildirim was murdered in Kagithane / =
Istanbul.
Atilla Cinar, again, gave the order.=20
6- July 15th, 1996, 4 revolutionaries (Hasan Huseyin Onat, Gulizar =
Simsek,
Emine Tuncal and Ali Erturk) were killed without warning in their base =
in
Gultepe / Istanbul. Their landlady Hanim Gul was injured and later she =
was
pushed out of a window while she was receiving medical treatment in the
hospital. Atilla Cinar gave the orders.=20
7- July 19th, 1996, Levent Dogan, a high school student, was killed on =
the
street in Bagcilar / Istanbul by the death squads. Again there was no
warning and they received the order from Atilla Cinar.=20
8- August 20th, 1996, Two Kurtulus newspaper distributors Senem Adali =
and
Muhammet Kaya were killed by the Atilla Cinar's death squads in =
Alibeykoy /
Istanbul. There was no warning.=20
9- October 6th, 1996, Ismet Guvenc was arrested in Esenler / Istanbul. =
He
was tortured and executed. His dead body was abandoned in a building =
site.
Atilla Cinar gave the orders.=20
10- June 9th, 1997, Suleyman Ors was killed without warning in
Gaziosmanpasa / Istanbul by the death squads of Atilla Cinar. Before the
executions the order of "kill him" was heard through the wireless =
radios.
11- June 4th, 1999, two revolutionaries, Sadik Mamati and Selcuk Akgun
were killed in a building site near the US consulate in Tarlabasi /
Istanbul on the order of Atilla Cinar.=20

TORTURE AND RAIDS:
1- February 17th, 1998, The central bureau of the Kurtulus newspaper was
raided by police and the workers Hamdi Kayisi, Aynur Cihan, Zehra =
Kurtay,
Banu Gudenoglu, Sengul Akkurt, Ecevit Uluvar were arrested and tortured =
on
the order of Atilla Cinar. This trial is continuing in Istanbul 6th DGM
(State Security Court) with the reference number 1998/69. During the =
raid
all the equipment and computers were either destroyed or confiscated by =
the
police officers under the supervision of Atilla Cinar.
2- March 11th, 1998, Yunus Bolukoc was arrested in one of his relative's
home in Kagithane / Istanbul. He was tortured and later arrested. He has =
a
medical report proving the torture. (Re: 794) Despite this record and
without evidence he was imprisoned for months. The trial is still
continuing in Istanbul 5th DGM with reference number 1998/128.
3- April 8th, 1998, the police attacked a group of mourners in Kocasinan
cemetery and arrested 18 people. There are medical reports of  most of
these people proving the torture. One of them is called Muharrem Genc =
and
his medical report's reference number is 1998/1400 and dated as April =
12th,
 1998. The trial is continuing in Istanbul 4th DGM with reference number
1998/159.
4- August 21st, 1998, Idil Cultural Centre in Ortakoy / Istanbul was
raided and 32 people were arrested including the members of music band =
GRUP
YORUM. They were tortured and Ersoy Taskin, Irsad Aydin and Mehmet =
Ozturk
were imprisoned. The trial is continuing in Istanbul 3rd DGM with =
reference
number 1998/291.=20
5- October 7th, 1998, the central bureau of Kurtulus newspaper was =
raided
again. It was another one of Atilla Cinar's orders. The workers, Ufuk
Dogbay, Ozlem Kutuk and Selma Kubat were tortured without accusation and
imprisoned without evidence for 3 months.=20
6- December 22nd, 1998, two revolutionaries Riza Poyraz and Meryem Altun
were arrested in Istanbul. Riza Poyraz was pushed out of the window on =
the
5th floor where the Anti-Terror Branch of the Istanbul police is =
located.
His legs were broken. He received a medical record stating that he needs =
to
stay indoors for 45 days. The same record was mentioned in the =
accusation
file (re: 1998/2904) of the trial in the Istanbul DGM. Riza Poyraz was
taken back to the police HQ for further torture.=20
7- January 23rd, 1999, a series of police operations took place in
Istanbul. The high school student Mustafa Capardasa was tortured in the
same branch where Atilla Cinar is the chief. Mustafa Capardasa managed =
to
get a medical report stating that he needs to have a rest for 7 days =

120)
8- June 7th, 1999, the police attacked to the funeral ceremony of the
murdered revolutionary Selcuk Akgun and arrested 82 people in Alibeykoy =
/
Istanbul. At the end of the torture sessions 15 people were imprisoned. =
The
trial is continuing in Istanbul DGM (re:1999/216)
9- February 10th, 1999, an high school student, Inan Dogan, was arrested
and tortured. There is a medical report proving the torture (re:501). =
The
trial is continuing in Istanbul DGM (re:1999/54)
10- April 7th, 1999 the Karanfiller Cultural Centre in Kagithane /
Istanbul was raided by police and 12 people were arrested. One of them,
Sinan Duman, has a medical report proving the torture he received. The =
same
centre was raided, once again, 10 days later by police and this time 13
people were arrested. The trial of the imprisoned, Taylan Pektas, Ozgur
Saglam and Serkan Cakar, is still continuing in Istanbul DGM (re: =
1999/162)

There are hundreds more cases of torture and murders which are known by =
the
people of Turkey. All these were well documented and proven without =
doubt.=20

All these raids, torture and murders are done by the death squads and
torturers under the command of Atilla Cinar. He continues to commit =
crimes
