Innovation North Seminar Series 

Praxis Centre
     will be hosting a seminar presented by 
          Dr Chris Langley on:  "Soldiers in the laboratory"


    Wednesday 28th January 1-2pm Caedmon Hall 124, Headingley Campus
 
 
Dr Chris Langley will report on a major research project undertaken by
Scientists for Global Responsibility on the military influence on science,
engineering and technology (SET) in the UK.  Dr Langley will present an
overview of the key findings of the project, the effects this influence
might have on teaching, research, and the broader values of the university,
and possible responses to it.
