Dear Update
SGR has launched a new report on UK military R&D, and the alternatives,
based on in-depth analysis of new data obtained using freedom of
information requests.
The report provides, for the first time, a detailed breakdown of (most
of) the MoD's R&D programmes, and also analyses alternative civilian R&D
spending on tackling the roots of conflict, in areas such as climate
change, international development and resource depletion.
A brief analysis of economic and employment aspects of military R&D, and
alternatives, is also provided.
