Dear friends,
We would like to say a thank you to all our members and supporters for
your continued interest and commitment to SGR. I would especially like
to welcome new members and thank existing members who have recently
updated their membership. We hope you find membership of SGR fulfilling
and enjoy receiving our newsletter and updates of our progress during
the year. Over the summer you will be receiving our Annual Report and
our newsletter in the autumn. At present all this literature goes out
to you in paper form through a mass mail out. As you can imagine this
entails using a large amount of paper and considerable expense in
postage. Although we always use recycled stationery and try to minimise
the use of paper where we can, I am sure you will agree that reducing
this further is close to our ethical commitment to environmental
sustainability. To this end will be making both these publications
available in an electronic format which can be emailed to members who
request it.
We know not all our members want to receive communication by email but
if you do, and would like to join with us in reducing paper and postage
could you please let us know.
I would be grateful if you could email me at georginas at sgr.org.uk with
the words: ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION in capitals in the subject line and
specify if you would like to receive the ANNUAL REPORT, NEWSLETTER or
BOTH in your email.
Many thanks
--
