A man of wood who became the man of the woods.  Although younger, he was my father.  Or maybe an uncle?  We were certainly brothers.  Whatever we may recover of our forest wisdom in the coming times, Tim isvery high among the influences, a teacher.

Tim Stead, MBE has died.  burial at wooplaw saturday.  details from Borders Forest Trust

In sadness, but with wonderful memories, farewell to one of our best.
