URGENT: Talk by 2 women from Chiapas

[The Land Is Ours]

Part of 'Central America Week':
Tomorrow night (Thursday), 2 women members of a co-op from Chiapas will be 
giving a talk at Praxis Community Centre in Bethnal Green, at 7.30pm.  They 
shall be talking about the recent struggles for self-determination amongst 
those communities living in the Chiapas region, and they will also no doubt 
be sharing their insights about the Zapatista's.  The women are weavers by 
profession.

(the community centre is attached to the Church on Potts Street).

This talk is a forerunner to an event on April 21st at Conway Hall in 
Holborn, Central London, entitled:  "Zapatismo; the rights of indigenous
