Eviction news

A couple who have lived in a secluded part of the Wiltshire countryside for
14 years have been told to move out or face jail.

After 10 years of legal wrangling and £250,000.00 of costs Robert and Sonia
Clarke-Gowan have been ordered to quit their mobile home by July
1st. While they own the land, using it as a smallholding, they have
continued to fight for planning permission to live in their mobile caravan.
However, North Wiltshire District Council have continued to block planning
permission, necessitating that the couple pursue this case in the courts.
