Dear Members and Supporters,

Birmingham Green Party campaigner Steve Austin and many others from the Justice Not Crisis Campaign are still there camping and occupying vacant council land. They are bringing to public attention Birmingham City Council's main political parties refusal to allow specific government money to be spent on the provision of affordable socially rented housing. We don't know for how much longer before they are evicted. You can still give them support by:

1) visiting and donating food
2) attending the camp when the BBC TV Politics Show turn up live
between 12.10 pm and 1 pm on Sunday 9th November

The site of the protest is on land between Varden Croft and Pershore Road and is between Edgbaston and Balsall Heath, close to Birmingham city centre. (Pershore Road between Balsall Heath Road and Speedwell Road)

For exact location and how to get there by public transport please see the website:

For a More Sustainable Birmingham.

Regards,

Peter
