I have just provided Office of National Statistics with the following which I received by Freedom of Information from HM Treasury .  





UK GROSS AND NET CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EU BUDGET (£MILLION)

*CAP payments of £3.4bn to private individuals and firms in UK
are included within the 'receipts' figures shown and serve to reduce the UK’s
gross contribution. Designating them “Public Sector Receipts “ is misleading.   

 

Similar stats  were
received for each year since 1973 together with projections to 2016

 

HM Treasury advises the tables are published in
“Transactions with the European Union”




 The information was received from HM Treasury in response to
a Freedom of Information question.  It is
unaccountably not available in Annual Abstract of Statistics nor held by Office
of National Statistics.  


I have passed them on and requested ONS to publish these stats in future.
