Labour policy review – have your say: rural Britain

(here's what Tony Wrench said on the Housing blog earlier today:
"Rural housing doesn't mean you lose countryside. The British
countryside was formed by people in the landscape. It is getting
trashed by industrial farming, not people living in it. Planning rules
could be changed, as is happening in Wales, to allow for self-build
developments that are 'one planet' in terms of energy and transport
use, use local resources, and are visually low impact. The demand is
there and this would be easy to do. Survivors of this century will be
those living in eco-villages.").
