The 2011 South West Scythe Festival and Green Fair

will take place on June 12

at Thorney Lakes, Muchelney, Langport Somerset

The Land magazine will be there,  along with:

*The Scything Championship
• Scythe team mowing competition.
• Other scythe and haymaking events
• Rural crafts
• Over 70 stalls
• Kids area
• Music
• Speakers
• Local organic food,
• Local  beer and cider.
• Camping.

Bus service from Yeovil Junction and Castle Cary stations

There are scythe courses for beginners and improvers on Saturday 11 June
