I can't report on all the recent TLIO gathering on 8 and 9 October,
as I was only present at some of the workshops.
However I can report the main conclusion of our group in the final
session as regards future strategy.

Tactics: We agreed that it would be a good idea to construct a TLIO
yurt which, in conjunction with a van, could be used as a focus for
occupations on deserving plots of land.

Targets: A number of possible targets were mentioned. There was
particular interest in using the yurt to flush out owners of
unregistered land, especially where the owner is unidentifiable —
the owner would have to come out of the woodwork in order to get a
possession order.

First steps: Gill Barron offered to facilitate a yurt-building course/
event at Monkton Wyld over winter so that the yurt is available for
next summer— but we need to establish that there are sufficient
people interested in mobilzing and using it.

if anyone is interested in helping build a yurt over the winter and
taking it on focussed land occupations during the summer, please
respond to the tlio email list

Incidentally, I was at St Pauls Cathedral on the first day of the
occupation. It was a great atmosphere, but quite tentaive at first,
and I felt it could have done with quick pitching of a yurt to give
it an air of immediate permanence.

sure whether it comes through on these lists.
