TLIO are hosting a weekend gathering from Sat 8th 
to Sun 9th October this year at Monkton Wyld 
Court, near Axminster, Dorset. Come and enjoy a 
feast of inspirational talks, open discussions, 
workshops and evening entertainment in the 
pleasantly eccentric setting of Monkton Wyld.

Talks and workshops will include the following themes:
• The need for land redistribution
• Agricultural subsidies - who for & for what?/Campaigning against Megafarms.
• Defending public forests
• Setting up land trusts, for housing and land projects
• Reclaim the Fields and Via Campesina
• Latest on GM
• What future for direct action land campaigning?
• The Localism Bill and other Planning Reforms — Threats and Opportunities.

Places are limited so please book early. There is 
no fee for attendance, but accommodation is being 
charged for, with options of camping (£7.50 per 
night or £10 if only 1 night) and b&b at £25 per 
night. There may still be 1 or 2 places available 
to sleep on a yoga mat on the floor in the main 
hall (£10 per night, £15 if for only 1 
night).  Accomodation is available Friday, 
Saturday and Sunday evening. Lunch and supper are 
provided at £5/£6 per meal (Daily Meal tickets available from TLIO for £8).
