Monday 25 September, 12:30pm, The Grand Hotel: Charlotte Room

In the second of our Preparing for Power fringes, this time at the Labour Party Conference in Brighton, we will be joined by Shadow Secretary for BEIS Rebecca Long-Bailey, UNITE General Secretary Len McCluskey, and our Chair and President John Hendy QC and Professor Keith Ewing.

At the our first Preparing for Power fringe at the TUC Congress 2017, Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell confirmed that the Labour Party would take forth the IER's Manifesto for Labour Law <http://ier.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f121e48a8bb6d3101590c12d3&id=b25c483f0c&e=71131c031b> proposals as a blueprint for the progressive reform of employment and trade union rights in the next Labour government. Join us at this free fringe - details below - to hear more about how the Manifesto for Labour Law <http://ier.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=f121e48a8bb6d3101590c12d3&id=8999754373&e=71131c031b> has progressed, and to hear from the Labour Party on their plans for the future of workers' rights.
