in Community Information and Communications Technology
will open a space to articulate a strategic agenda for our field
The Seventh Annual Community Networking Conference will consist of a CN7
Workshop Day and a Strategic Leadership Summit: "Open Space Austin"
CN7 Workshops on Thurs. April 28
Open Space Austin Summit April 29-30.
Vision: Convergence and Alignment of Positive Social Forces behind
Community ICT
Open Space Austin (OSA) will be an intensive two day strategy meeting,
designed to spark common alignment, new alliances and individual actions for
anyone passionate about community & independent media, community networking,
community wireless, community informatics & research or community technology
and the relevance of these to community and economic development. The format
will consist of a variety of large and small group discussion around
self-selected topics, with a standard reporting system that will dynamically
generate a conference report available at the conclusion of the meeting.
