Subject: Tenants and Trade Unions on March 20 Oct

Stop privatisation; improve existing and build a new generation of first class council housing
Tenants and Trade Unions on March 20 Oct

Tenants will join trade unions and campaigners on the TUC demonstration this Saturday 20 October.
Unaffordable private housing, failure to build the homes we need, and attacks on tenancies rents and benefits, will blight the lives of a generation unless we stop them.We are demanding:
                  * Direct investment in council housing as a matter of urgency
                  * Defend security of tenure for existing and future tenants
                  * No eviction of tenants in rent arrears due to Housing Benefit cuts
                  * Regulate to control private sector rents and conditions, and extend security
                  * Investment in a massive programme of new and improved, energy-efficient council house buildingPrint and distribute copies of this new poster (2-sided) on the transport to the march - poster here.
And join the DCH banner 11.30am at Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square WC2N 5DN
